JOB SUMMARY The Manager of Human Resources is responsible for the administration of the policies and procedures as they relate to human resources management. The Manager collaborates with the Executive Director to ensure current practices comply with laws and regulations and meet the needs of the school personnel. The Manager administers all benefits programs and serves as a resource to personnel needing assistance.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESHUMAN RESOURCESMaintain and update personnel policies, procedures, and the staff handbook. Keep the staff directory and organizational charts current.Onboard new employees in collaboration with other Administration and maintain the onboarding process and materials.Act as an advisor to administration on issues related to employees and the consistent application of policies related to hiring, discipline, etc.Maintain personnel records; track staff vacation, sick, and personal days.Administer all benefits programs offered by the school.

Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and school policies and procedures related to human resources, including those pertaining to employee hiring and records management.Track and document degrees, licensure, certifications, and endorsements.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of required external reports related to personnel including EPIMS reports.Provide training to staff and teachers on relevant HR topics.Maintain current employee resources across all platforms.ADMINISTRATIVE AND OPERATIONALComplete payroll with the Manager of Finance to ensure accurate accounting for benefits, leave time deductions, timesheets, etc.Serve as a member of the district-level Leadership Team.Work with the Executive Director, Principal, and other staff as appropriate to ensure the smooth operation of the school.Supervise, evaluate, and ensure professional development opportunities for the Manager of Grants & Finance Operations and Manager of Food Services.
