If you are a manager with experience in demand planning, and a passion for leading a team of planners, we’d love to talk to you!
SUCCESS FACTORS (First 12-18 months)

  • Charting the Course: You organized the demand planning portion of the S&OP process, provided direction to the demand planning team, and helped us achieve our common goal of forecasting the business to service the customers. • S&OP Process: You led the demand planning portion of the S&OP process and worked with internal stakeholders to keep them engaged in the plan. Once you gathered all the facts about the demand plan, you created meaningful content for the S&OP Demand Review and presented the plan to the cross-functional Sales and Marketing teams. Working with key stakeholders, you implemented best practices within the Demand Review and created continuous improvement that enhanced the meeting.
  • Managing the business: You worked with the cross-functional team to identify risks and opportunities and used this information to drive effective decision making to adjust the forecast. You considered the impact of the adjustments on both the short and long-term planning horizon, which helped to ensure a balanced plan. To support the Demand Planning portion of the S&OP process, you were the key team member who has ensured a balanced forecast for all S&OP families.
  • Demand Landscape Expert: With genuine curiosity, you learned everything you could about how our customers operate, including facts about their promotional calendar, distribution points, and assortment preferences. Once you learned all the important facts, you worked with your Team to incorporate this knowledge and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Analytics Champion: You broke down complex business problems, identified the root cause, and then made fact-based decisions that influenced your direct reports, and the S&OP process. Your analytical prowess and knowledge of standard demand planning KPIs ensured that exceptions were quickly identified and the forecast continuously improved. This helped everyone to understand the plan and achieve world-class forecast accuracy with all the S&OP families.
