Summary:
Join their dynamic aviation enterprise poised for rapid growth, where opportunities abound. They are currently seeking 2 x driven individuals to join both their Texas and Arizona based facilities. You will operate with autonomy, spearheading business operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives to propel our business unit forward. With a steadfast focus on Safety, Quality, productivity, efficiency, and profitability, you will employ effective methodologies and strategies to optimize departmental and organizational operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of departments involved in production, sales, and product distribution.
  • Manage personnel, devising work schedules, and delegating specific responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures and manuals to uphold company standards.
  • Analyze sales, operational metrics, and activity reports to gauge productivity, goal achievement, and areas for cost reduction and program enhancement.
  • Optimize workflow by addressing constraints and bottleneck processes.
  • Provide leadership in achieving operational goals, including staffing, interviewing, hiring, cross-training, and training new employees.
  • Implement shop floor optimization and lean improvements while resolving conflicts to drive profitable growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other management to ensure optimal resource allocation and workforce utilization.
  • Proactively identify negative trends and collaborate with management to find win-win solutions, balancing program requirements with resource constraints.
  • Address customer concerns effectively by implementing solutions such as resource reallocation, revised schedules, or modified contractual specifications.


Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in operations management preferred.
  • FAA Airframe License Required.
  • Certification under FAA Part 65 is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in a general technical field such as engineering, contracts administration, or program management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and MS Office products.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
