Spartan Logistics is a third-party logistics (3PL) company headquartered in Columbus, OH. We specialize in a unique logistics model: We own and operate our own warehouses, fleet, forklifts, and other key equipment. We have decades of experience in fast-moving inventory, especially food and beverages, and also are veteran handlers of glass, paper, automotive supplies, and more. With our staff of more than 350, we operate over 4 million square feet of warehouse space strategically placed throughout Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas.

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Office Manager to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role operates as expert lead and primary point of contact to the customer and customer service team. This supervisory role assists management in overseeing the customer service department and ensuring top customer satisfaction. This individual will manage and assist customer service employees in the performance of their job duties, such as responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues or complaints.

What You'll be doing as a Logistics Office Manager:

  • Investigates customer issues and creates mutually beneficial solutions
  • Listens and resolves complaints with customers and office personnel
  • Participates in Hiring, training, and providing direction for employees
  • Processes and manages customer reports
  • Creates and maintains SOP’s
  • Processes weekly and monthly billing
  • Orders office supplies (if applicable)
  • Dispatches and manages drivers schedule (if applicable)
  • Manages and runs customer service office
  • Manages internal projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

What you'll need to be successful:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a customer service supervisory role.
  • Good character and integrity!
  • Good communicator and teacher.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to be forward-thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Basic computer skills; Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
