Job Description Summary
At zSpace, our innovative programming helps educators become masters of the digital space as they seamlessly integrate technology with learning. We support them with top-notch Professional Learning to ensure they are properly trained and have an excellent experience with our products.
We are a group of fun, fast-paced, and team-oriented techies, and we are looking to expand our team with a passionate PL Specialist to train our customers on all zSpace applications.. The PL Specialist will need to be comfortable training all grade levels and CTE content which covers topics such as automotive, welding, health sciences, agricultural sciences, manufacturing, industrial robotics, etc.
Our PL Specialists train educators on zSpace systems, curriculum planning, and implementing zSpace technology. They often trouble-shoot technology and sometimes install equipment as well. After a PL session, they follow up remotely for any additional needs to support their success. They communicate and collaborate with our Professional Learning Manager, Customer Success Team, Services, Sales, Support, and Product teams to share customer feedback and to help drive customer success.

Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver best-in-class professional learning that leverages zSpace technology for teaching and learning.
- Communicate with customers and adapt and implement a PL plan aligned to their goals and objectives.
- Trouble-shoot hardware and software as necessary.
- Gather customer feedback on PL content and curriculum and discuss with the Senior Professional Learning Manager any feedback that affects the delivery of effective PL.
- Collaborate with zSpace’s PL Senior Manager, Customer Success Managers, Services, Sales, Support, and Product Teams to drive customer success.
- Support the development of collateral related to zSpace Professional Learning (i.e. write, edit, and review PL presentation materials, activities, online courses, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and professional records, book travel, and follow through on administrative tasks.
- Participate in self-directed remote and on-site training on our productsand servicesthroughout the year (zSpace continuously adds new content and features to products, and it is the responsibility of the PL Specialist to learn these new updates and to train our customers on them).
- Travel to customer sites dependent on needs up to 75% of the time.
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills that effectively conveys information in presentation, documentation, and conversational forms
- Proficiency in Google Apps, and other collaboration and project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple competing demands to reach project deliverables and timeline
- Ability to quickly transition thinking about one grade level to another or from one subject area to another
- Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure when problem-solving a customer’s issue
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology, science education, or other relevant experience
- At least 5 years experience teaching in the K12 and/or CTE classroom environments and successfully integrating technology in the classroom
- Experience creating external facing documentation and collateral
- A highly professional digital footprint
- Residence near a major airport
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Preferred Experience
- Master’s Degree in education, instructional technology, or other related area.
- Experience using AR/VR with zSpace with students and teachers
- Prior experience training teachers with educational technology
- Work experience with coaching teachers
- Knowledge of academic and technology standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
