Position Description:
The Junior Quality Assurance Technician is a vital part of the Quality Department and company. They are responsible for ensuring products in production area are produced within required specifications.
This is achieved through completing systematic checks that measure product quality standards. The Junior Quality Assurance Technician also helps to ensure that all company policies and procedure are being followed.
They complete start up checks to ensure that equipment and rooms are cleared correctly for the next product. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Essential responsibilities:
- Ensuring product specifications are met and ensuring the companies policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
- Production Equipment and Room Clearing
- In Process Document Review.
- Conducting Yield Investigation
- Production of products meets company’s stringent quality standards from start to finish.
- Liaise with production to ensure that projects are initiated, executed, and completed according to federal regulations.
- Activities will include point step process review.
- Insuring all employees follow cGMP requirements within the facility.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies/skill Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate exceptional written and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions / directions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Able to make decisions based on company guidelines. Exceptional organizational, multitasking and time-management skills are required.

- Demonstrate integrity and willingness to take personal responsibility for performance.
- Knowledge of Dietary Supplement GMPs preferred.
- Experience in dietary supplement industry preferred.
- Experience enforcing SOP and product specifications preferred.
- Proficiency with all MS Office Suite programs – excel experience required.
- Strong mathematics skills required.
- English proficiency required.
