Description of Duties
Title: Junior Account Executive
Classification: Exempt
Salary Range*: $75,000/year-$85,000/year
Location*: Van Nuys, CA; New York, NY
Schedule: Onsite/Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office/week
We are seeking an LA or New York based Junior Account Executive, to support the existing Wholesale distribution, and focused Wholesale expansion (internationally and domestically), specifically supporting Major Accounts Domestically and Internationally. This role is more versatile than a traditional Wholesale Junior AE role, as the Junior AE will be responsible for wholesale and special project management within a Direct-to-Consumer environment; offering significant opportunity for learning and growth; but also requiring flexibility and openness to being a part of a unique and creative process from “market prep” through the shipping process and every area in-between.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
“Market prep” and Selling Season
Attending product review either virtually or in person and assisting with assortment building & asset creation
Supporting preparation for seasonal product review, including organization of recaps, coordination of photography support and asset tracking/support.
Compiling wholesale line sheets & Visual Tools to send to partners.
Partnering with the Assistant AE in Creating order templates and pricing templates and managing day to day communication of the information with partners.
Attending virtual market meetings
Cross-functional collaboration/support with the Brand President, Merchandising team, and Sales consultants through market management and projection communication.
Cross-functional partnership with teams internally; communicating line/product changes and delivery information to Wholesale Majors and International accounts
Receiving and organizing purchase orders, and supporting revenue rollups and analysis
Partnering with the Wholesale team to update product projections for wholesale partners, recap financial and unit totals to the team; and support style analysis specific to product minimums, early projections and product drops/adds.
Organizing delivery information and special product requests for production and operations
Partnering with Operations/Customer Service team to audit orders following system order entry
Communicating official order confirmations and final product information to partners
Partnering with Finance, Ops and Production to support financial reconciliation and wholesale AR tracking
Providing partners with global pricing and mark-down suggestions seasonally.
Reporting, Recapping & Omni-Channel Planning Support
Partner with Ops team and Sales/Strategy consultants to complete market product and financial recaps.
Wholesale data maintenance and pricing template/rollup creation
Selling Reports: Update weekly style selling and end of season selling reports for all major and “mini-major/multi-door accounts”, completing visual recaps for the team ahead of product milestones.
Partnering with Operations/Customer Care support team in reviewing production reports, shipping reports and ETA reports weekly, communicating updates or extension requests with partners.
Supporting revenue reporting and forecasting reporting.
Completing Product template requirements for domestic and international Major’s.
Pop-ups, Product Knowledge, Styling Suggestions and Auditing, & Wholesale and Special Projects/Collaborations
Completing Product knowledge decks seasonally for each major partner; working cross-functionally with teams internally to support the current Brand DNA, technical product knowledge and overall product information.
Auditing online presence regularly; communicating with partners on necessary updates, and styling notes.
Assisting with organization and communication of wholesale pop-ups internationally and domestically.
Coordinating with internal teams (Operations, Coms/Marketing, Design and Merchandising) to execute various elements of the special projections, pop-ups or collaborations.
Coordinating meetings with internal teams related to pop-ups or collaborations.
Fielding day to day questions and communication with specialty Major accounts; partnering with Operations to insure accounts have clear updates and communications regarding immediate orders, future orders and day-to-day
shipping.
Skills and Abilities
Passionate and energetic about the Brand, with the ability to manage the nitty gritty, while learning and growing with exposure to premier global and domestic wholesale partners.
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to follow up
Intermediate/advanced excel skills supporting multi-channel planning rollups & analysis
Prompt response time and efficient email correspondence internally and externally.
Professional style in email correspondence and in person/virtual presentation; prepared to meet and correspond with top level department store partners domestically and internationally.
Cross-functional partnership skills: ability to partner with Merchandising, Operations, Production, Design, PR and Marketing (in addition to other team’s internally) in all areas related to wholesale development, pop-ups and collaborations.
Ability to be flexible and out of the box in an evolving and exciting new role.

Minimum Requirements
2-4 years’ experience required in wholesale sales; ideally in contemporary or emerging designer space.
Experience in managing and updating selling reports and selling analysis
Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Word.
Experience working with apparel system, or quick learner in systems generally
Be proactive and take initiative
Energetic, confident, and adaptable personality
Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to support the development of processes and identify procedural gaps

Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation.

- Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
- This position is to be based out of LA or NY, In NY this position would be fully hybrid with travel to LA a minimum of 3 times per year. In LA this would be in office a minimum of 3 days a week, but could be up to 5 days depending on the needs of the business
