POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Senior Consultant


REPORTS TO:
Deputy Superintendent


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
240 days per year

Administrative Salary Schedule


GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:


Kentucky Administrative Certification; A minimum of five years of school building level teaching and/or administrative experience; Demonstrable leadership skills; knowledge and experience of human resources functions in K-12 educational settings.


PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supports the Superintendent in carrying out policies, procedures, and processes related to school district personnel
  • Oversees District HR functions, including payroll, benefits, central office technology support and reporting of personnel actions to the Superintendent/School Board
  • Oversees employee policies, procedures, and processes including the development of, and on-going implementation and maintenance of employment forms/documents, handbooks, and technology systems
  • Oversees the District’s personnel application system including related technology application(s)
  • Develops District salary schedules
  • Develops and maintains site-based staffing allocations
  • Assists other District administrators in processing personnel investigations, including recommendations for potential disciplinary actions
  • Assists other District administrators in the development and maintenance of job descriptions and evaluation systems.
  • Oversees the District’s substitute teacher/employee system including related technology application(s). Assists with the scheduling of training for substitutes
  • Manages and analyzes trend data related to all human resources functions (students and staff) on behalf of the district
  • Oversees the maintenance of the District’s human resources filing system
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
