Summary
IT Analyst/Software Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and information technology. A successful candidate must be able to understand QED’s business needs and must also be able to implement solutions that meet the business requirements using a variety of IT technologies. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements.
Design, install, and upgrade IT solutions to meet business needs.
Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams
Propose system modifications, develop, install, and test software solutions.
Plan and oversee projects.
Train and support employees on new systems and procedures.
Keep abreast of IT technology trends and developments

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or in another engineering discipline if applicant has sufficient IT or software development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four years industry experience.
Required Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
Demonstrated proficiency for understanding IT concepts such as identity, security, compliance, networking, databases, APIs, etc.
Demonstrated proficiency for software programming in a language such as Python, C#, AL, or other similar language.
Demonstrated proficiency for critical thinking and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent project management and time management skills.
Other Desired Engineering Skills and Abilities
The following skills, although not required, will be considered a plus when evaluating a candidate:
Microsoft Dynamics Business Central AL programming experience
Microsoft Dynamics CRM customization experience
Microsoft Power BI experience, especially as it relates to data mining and analysis of data from Microsoft Dynamics BC and CRM
Microsoft Power Automate experience
Travel, domestically and internationally may occasionally be required (<5%) in order to perform the essential functions of this position.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $107,000. The rate offered will be dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate as compared with current employees with similar skills and experience.
