Uvalde County Sheriff's Office is currently hiring an investigator. This position is currently grant funded through August 31, 2024.

Must reside or willing to relocate within Uvalde County.

• Must be 21 years of age with an Active TCOLE Peace Officer License.
• Able to successfully complete a psychological and physical examination.
• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Required to pass a drug screening and background investigation.
• Prior Military must have an honorable discharge and provide a copy of DD-214.
• Must comply with all TCOLE requirements regarding any prior criminal history.
• Minimum of three years of continuous service as a paid, full time peace officer from a municipality, sheriff's office or department of public safety preferred.
• Previous Investigation Experience is required.
