Main Responsibilities
- Stocking vehicles in, creating QR/Barcode labels
- Updating daily logs with the current status and disposition of each vehicle
- Coordinating with various team members in the Service and Parts Departments vehicles passes through various reconditioning stages
- Analyze and audit vehicle logs and reports for accuracy
- Create and distribute various types of inventory reports on demand for various departments
- Communicate with dispatchers and drivers of vehicle transport companies to ensure efficient vehicle deliveries
- Physically gather and stage vehicles marked for shipment prior to the arrival of transport
- Perform periodic inventory audits, including a visual verification of the vehicle and its 17-character VIN, and report any discrepancies
- Coordinate delivery and pick up of products from distribution centers and other stores
- Coordinate delivery and pick up of products for customers for service or sales support
- Engage with vendors, customers, and drivers with a positive and helpful attitude
- Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments as needed
- Other duties as needed to keep the new facility running smooth- We are all team players!
Requirements
- Valid and Current Motorcycle Endorsement, Required
- Clean Driving Record
- The ability to safely move and operate motorcycles, some weighting in excess of 850 lbs fully dressed
- Proficiency in computer usage and applications such as Word, Excel, Gmail with the ability to navigate multiple software systems easily
- Detailed oriented in a high volume, high urgency environment
- Reliable, accountable, self-motivated, and able to maintain work quality and accuracy in peak volume periods
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build good working relationships with coworkers and vendors is a must
- Familiarity with a variety of makes of motorcycle and powersports vehicles, preferred
- History of working in a powersports or automotive dealership or repair facility is desired
- Powersports enthusiast, a huge plus
