Compensation:
$18 - $22 yearly + bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Communicate the status of the building project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses from the appropriate authorities and ensure construction is up to code
- Forecast monetary needs for the project and accurately manage the budget
- Establish organizational processes for tools, equipment, and vehicles and arrange for maintenance as needed
- Negotiate profitable agreements with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors
- Supervise and coordinate inventory, pack out, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and packing back of contents
- Pack customer items with digital accountability, implementing meticulous wrapping, boxing, and storage procedures, while assessing the reusability of items
- Apply professional cleaning and recuperation techniques to customer belongings, exceeding expectations and recognizing the significance of valuable objects through careful cleaning and treatment
- Ensure exceptional service, emphasizing respect for customers and their possessions during challenging times
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and insurers, reporting to General Managers, and managing the safety program, including training new hires
- Conduct dry and wet mitigation/pre-cleaning using accepted procedures, manipulate contents at client sites, and accurately load and unload contents on and off trucks
- Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections, maintaining vehicles in a clean, serviceable condition
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in engineering, construction management, or other similar fields
- Familiarity with construction project management software is highly valued
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus
- One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required
- Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, blueprints, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
- Preferred experience in the construction, restoration, moving, or insurance industry
- Proficiency in strategically planning and overseeing multiple projects
- Leadership skills
- Ability to problem-solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Packer/Mover experience
- Furniture and soft goods cleaning is a plus
- A great attitude and ability to be adaptable
- Proficiency with a smartphone and tablet (iCat is preferred)
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English is a requirement for this role
