Job Overview: MUST have retail inventory management experience.

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, optimizing materials management processes, overseeing managers and inventory for all of our retail locations. This is a vital role in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials

- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies

-Oversee managers to assure inventory is correct in various retail locations.

- Utilize online inventory management systems to track and monitor stock levels

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management processes

- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update inventory systems accordingly

- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency

- Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock levels and resolve any supply chain issues

Skills:

- Proven experience in warehouse management, materials management, or inventory control

- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices

- Proficient in using online inventory management systems (e.g., Shopventory) and other online inventory tracking tools

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in recordkeeping and data entry

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
