Our Corporate Services department is looking for a Human Resources Specialist who will be responsible for supporting the organization by implementing and administering human resources program, policies and initiatives that support the Cooperative’s employees, mission, and values.
Essential Job Duties

- Provide human resources services, including, but not limited to recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee relations, retiree relations and other programs as preferred as required.
- Complete personnel transactions and maintain associated records.
- Provide support in revising and implementing corporate policies and procedures including communicating changes.
- Adhere to professional and industry-specific standards and practices, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
- Other duties in support of Corporate Services and the Cooperative.

- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
- Knowledge of human resources and training software and tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred.
Experience:
- 1- 5 years of similar Human Resources experience preferred.
- Cooperative experience a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a background and drug screening.
- Valid Texas Drivers’ License and related insurance.
