Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for assisting with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process by reviewing resumes.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with performance management processes, including conducting performance evaluations and providing guidance to managers on performance improvement plans
- Support employee relations by addressing employee inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct research on HR trends and best practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with affirmative action planning and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with payroll department to ensure accurate processing of employee information

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in human resources management or related role
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and applicant tracking systems (e.g., iCIMS)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience with payroll processes is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
