Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist provides technical and administrative support to the HR team across all functional areas of HR. Responsible for delivering high quality, customer-focused service, supporting all levels of employees by coordinating and maintaining HR projects, programs, processes and policies, as well as supporting employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Performs a wide variety of Human Resources support functions, including but not limited to:
· Generates HR reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
· Participates in planning and execution of company events
· Publishes a weekly company Newsletter and quarterly Employee Magazine
· Assists in the hiring process including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews
· Coordinates and/or conducts interviews with job candidates
· Owns administration of employee onboarding and orientation
· Performs HRIS data entry and audits employee data to ensure HRIS data integrity
· Ensures compliance with on-going personnel file maintenance
· Supports the execution of employee engagement activities
· Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or other related field
· 0 -2 years of HR-related experience
· Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
· Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
· HRIS and reporting experience preferred
