Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.

Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.

Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

Maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) records and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Handle employee inquiries and provide HR-related support and guidance.

Assist with performance management processes, including performance appraisals.

Support employee relations initiatives and help resolve employee issues and conflicts.

Assist with HR compliance efforts, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.

Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to support HR initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

2+ years of experience in HR or related roles.

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

General understanding of math calculations related to Human Resources.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Possess professionalism with strong leadership qualities.

Must be motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to shift focus, follow direction and meet due dates.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems.

SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
