Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency, is currently accepting applications for a full-time, Temporary Personnel Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. This entry level HR position will work out of the office in Butler, PA and may travel throughout Armstrong, Allegheny, and Butler Counties about 20% of the time.

The hours for this role are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or Saturday morning work. The assignment is to fill in for an employee on leave and is expected to last from June through September 2024.

The Recruiter completes full cycle recruiting tasks (from sourcing, screening, interviewing, employment verifications, professional reference checks, etc.) and recruits all types of Human and Social Service, Management, and Administrative positions using our ATS system (ADP Workforce Now). The recruiter will assist with marketing roles to various media and attend college recruiting events, along with conducting other HR related tasks.

Recruiter Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of recruitment or recruiting support experience
  • OR Associate Degree in Human Resources or a related field with 1 year of recruiting experience or recruitment support experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field.
  • Must possess excellent organization and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with confidential information in a responsible manner.
  • Must be able to drive/travel throughout assigned counties using your own vehicle. Mileage reimbursement available.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
