As the Human Resources Manager, located in Springfield, MO, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing Human Resources generalist leadership and support for Springfield, MO location
- Partnering with Talent Acquisition to develop and implement effective strategies that will bring community awareness and interest of businesses and opportunities resulting in strong talent pools of qualified candidates. This includes appropriate job descriptions, job grades, compensation, incentives & rewards and recognition programs.
- Leading HR projects that assist in the understanding and development of a culture supportive of business strategy.
- Interacting with all HR entities to deliver seamless HR support to include but not limited to Employee Relations, Employee Assistance, Total Compensation Resources (Payroll, Benefits, Mobility, etc.), Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, etc.
- Supervising and providing consultation and training for supervisors/managers and or employees on HR systems, tools, processes, compliance, policies, etc.
- You will provide guidance and counsel to management and employees on company guidelines, employee relations issues, compliance issues, performance management, diversity and inclusion, workforce staffing, and training and development needs.
- The HR Manager will seek out opportunities to increase employee engagement, satisfaction, and assist in leading or managing multiple projects aligned with 3M’s business strategies, objectives, and growth initiatives.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of Human Resources Generalist experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master’s degree or higher in a human resources discipline from an accredited institution
- Seven (7) years of Human Resource and/or relevant working experience
- Ability to parlay industry knowledge into competitive HR strategies
- Understanding of recruiting practices, methodologies and tools
Work location: On-site Springfield, MO
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
