Salary:
Manager - Human Resources
This role provides HR leadership and tactical duties for manufacturing sites throughout the Midwest. While the position reports directly to the Senior HR Manager, the role has strong dotted-line partner accountability to operational leaders within the organization. The successful candidate will cover all phases of the employee life cycle, from recruitment and on boarding, to employee relations and policy administration. Includes items such as benefit and leave administration, HRIS and employee file maintenance, and support of HR projects, such as compensation and employee development.

Responsibilities:
Ability to drive recruiting and talent retention efforts
Ability to coach and provide guidance on adherence to employment practices and policies
Lead all investigations relative to conduct and ethics and advise management of outcomes as appropriate
Work with management to facilitate effective performance management and compensation processes
Maintain employee files, supports payroll and benefits processes, and all other employment related records as is appropriate.
Builds a strong relationship with site managers and their teams
High engagement with employees to assist with employee relations, benefits questions, etc.through floor walks, open hours, office appointments, etc.
Provides support during major projects as needed to ensure success
Other HR related administrative tasks as required

Possesses strong communication skills
Can prioritize responsibilities across multiple sites
Requirements:
Five years plus in HR Management
Manufacturing/production/industrial HR experience
Ability to travel up to 20% to other plants in the specific region
Preferred:
Bachelor's or the equivalent of years of experience in HR
