A local Healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to ensure that all human resources operations are carried out smoothly and effectively. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for monitoring and implementation of human resources initiatives to include but not limited to: payroll, compensation, benefits, and recruitment. Provides support, guidance and training to all levels of staff at the facility.
Responsibilities:
· Implement strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development.
· Oversee and approve timecards for payroll purposes.
· Serve as the point of contact for benefits and employment relations.
· Monitor adherence to company policies and legal standards.
· Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics.
· Process grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
· Report to senior management and attend staff meetings as directed.
Skills
· Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
· Full understanding of company policies and procedures.
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulation.
· Knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
· Ability to adapt to the needs of the facility and employees.
· Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and/or combination of education and significant work experience in Human Resources preferred.
Healthcare experience preferred.
