Summit Stairs and Millwork, a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative interior stair products, stair components, and exterior columns, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team. Founded 30 years ago, Summit Stairs & Millwork has established itself as an industry leader known for its high-quality products, deep industry knowledge, and exceptional customer service. Under new ownership and experiencing tremendous growth, we are looking for a dedicated HR professional to support our expanding operations.

Position Overview: As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization’s growth and success. Reporting directly to the President, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management, with a focus on HRIS administration and ADP experience. This role is based in our Rock Hill, SC office, with occasional travel (10-15%) to our Atlanta, GA, and Raleigh, NC locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Total Rewards (compensation, benefits, immigration & relocation)
  • Talent Acquisition (recruiting, new hire on-boarding, orientation)
  • Talent Management (succession planning, performance management & development)
  • Learning & Organizational Capability (performance management, training delivery & design)
  • Process payroll and administer benefits using ADP software.
  • Diversity & Inclusion programs coordination
  • HRIS deployment
  • Government & legislative compliance
  • Employee and labor relations
  • Termination management
  • Employee engagement and goodwill initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or construction industry.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or similar certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS systems, with proficiency in ADP software.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other company locations.

Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, Summit Stairs and Millwork offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off.
