The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the US Human Resources Team responsible for aligning people strategy with business strategy and keeping the pulse of US management and employees. This position is the primary HR partner for all leaders and employees within the organizations assigned to the HR Manager. In this role, the HR Manager will be responsible for strategic initiatives as well as day-to-day activities for the assigned departments. This position is responsible for compliance and managing employee relations. This position will also own, manage, and deliver HR projects. This position reports to the VP of HR.


Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the HR Manager to assigned functions. As an HR Manager, this role aligns people management with the needs of the organization by coaching leaders, focusing on talent management and development, and championing change.
  • Through proactive manager and employee outreach, including regular meetings with leaders and employees, this position builds relationships with the business and keeps the pulse of the US organization in addition to analyzing trends and making recommendations.
  • Proactively provides guidance and consults on a broad range of Employee Relations issues including HR policy and procedure interpretation and/or application; employee concerns and issue resolution; federal & state regulations.
  • Manages the recruiting process end to end, including posting, sourcing, and interviewing candidates. In the recruiting role, this position will manage the applicant tracking process, coordinate interviews, track recruiting metrics, and manage background checks.
  • Works with management to ensure a good candidate experience and onboarding process.
  • Partners with management on talent management initiatives. Consults with leaders regarding performance issues and termination decisions and ensures that all corrective action procedures are implemented appropriately.
  • Handles employee relations issues/investigations in a timely manner by conducting research, interview and analysis of data during the investigative phase. Prepares investigative reports and makes recommendations.
  • Ensures consistency in the application and enforcement of policies and procedures and compliance with all government regulations (EEO, INS, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, etc.) and all federal and state laws.
  • Works closely with General Counsel, outside legal counsel, leadership, and other Human Resource professionals on policy development and resolution of HR issues.
  • In conjunction with key HR initiatives, collects and analyzes employee and market data. Reports trends and makes recommendations.
  • Keeps up to date with US labor laws and trends and brings expertise and trends to the HR team.
  • May work on US immigration matters, including Visas and Green Cards.
  • Works closely with benefits function on employee leaves and accommodations.
  • Leads and participates in HR projects that drive and support US and global HR initiatives while supporting business objectives.
  • Duties and responsibilities may be added, removed, or changed to meet the needs of the department.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • 7+ years of HR Management/HRBP/Generalist experience, including employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, performance management, and project management experience.
  • Prefer demonstrated experience working with sales organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment law.
  • Ability to follow assignments through to completion with a bias towards action and execution.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage HR Manager responsibilities and day to day HR activities, while leading and working on projects.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting required. ADP experience, including developing reports is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to gain credibility, engender trust, and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Experienced working in a global environment. Experience in the technology industry preferred.
