The HR Manager at our Alta Vista plant will be a key member of the Human Resources team, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources. This strategic role for our manufacturing plant will be responsible for managing and executing HR initiatives to support the plant's workforce. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for cultivating a positive workplace culture and requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of HR in a manufacturing environment.

What you will do as the HR Manager:

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to promote strong employee relations.
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, conduct interviews and participate in the selection process to ensure the Alta Vista plant is staffed with top-tier talent.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs within the manufacturing workforce, develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, and facilitate orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all employment laws and regulations, conducting regular audits to guarantee the Alta Vista plant's compliance with HR policies.
  • Benefits Administration: Collaborate with the Benefits staff to administer employee benefit programs, ensuring competitive and comprehensive offerings.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement. Conduct employee surveys and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Organizational Culture: Champion and embody Bakery Barn's values, contributing to the development and maintenance of a positive organizational culture.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Accounting required.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in talent acquisition and employee development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
