Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist at By the Sea Resorts will be assist the Director of Human Resources with all aspects of the human resources department, primarily focusing on, but not limited to, recruitment and employee housing. This is an on-site management role and the successful candidate will be based in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time management position with a salary range of $40000 to $50000 per year. The compensation will be paid on a weekly basis and will include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and other company perks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the company
- Conduct interviews and assist with the hiring process for all positions within the company
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires
- Oversee our Shalimar Employee Housing complex with the assistance of the Housing Coordinator to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs while managing the property
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations
- Assist with maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases
- Assist with employee complaints and conflict resolution
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in human resources
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a management role
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
