HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Divine Savior Ministries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of HR Management experience or within the HR field and a deep alignment with Christian values. The role involves sourcing, attracting, and hiring exceptional educators and staff who share our commitment to academic excellence and Christian principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in recruiting, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.
  • Deep understanding and alignment with Christian values and principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in utilizing recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and social media platforms for talent acquisition.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing network within Christian communities or organizations.
  • Experience working in a Christian educational environment.
  • Certification in HR or recruiting-related fields
  • Proficiency in utilizing recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and social media platforms for talent acquisition.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates aligned with the school's mission and values.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions that reflect the requirements and ethos of the institution.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels (online job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to actively source and engage potential candidates.
  • Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with Christian principles.
  • Coordinate and facilitate recruitment events, including job fairs, information sessions, and networking opportunities within the Christian community.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics to track progress and optimize recruiting efforts.
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process from initial contact through onboarding
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assist the Human Resources Director with other related duties as assigned.

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
