Position Overview:

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented HR professional? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building positive relationships with employees? If so, then we want to hear from you! As a vital member of our HR team, you will play a key role in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement. You will partner with managers and employees to foster a positive work environment that promotes engagement and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Assists the HR Manager for Employee Relations with workplace investigations and provide advice to operations managers related to employee relations issues
  • Unemployment Claims Management: Handle unemployment hearings and claims, representing the company and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Termination Processing: Oversee the entire termination process, ensuring it's handled legally and professionally.
  • Workers' Compensation Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date workers' compensation accounts with relevant state agencies, staying informed on regulations and ensuring timely claim reporting.
  • Benefits Administration: Process benefit enrollments and terminations, handle COBRA paperwork.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive working relationships with all employees (field and office) and external vendors who support HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, workers' compensation regulations, and unemployment insurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to employee relations.
