Purpose:


Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will execute human resources activities related to full cycle recruitment, management of employee relations, training and development, and compliance. You will take part in committees and special projects that improve relationships and build purpose and vision across the team.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage full cycle recruitment for open positions. Proactively source and fill open positions, partnering with third party agencies as needed.
  • Act as liaison for local colleges and manage and facilitate JBT participation in job fairs.
  • Work with manager to identify training needs and determine cost effective solutions.
  • Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the training.
  • Create and update training material as needed.
  • Assist the Director of HR with developing internal talent.
  • Lead the Employee Engagement committee and organize community events in Chalfont, Kingston, and Leicester UK.
  • Act as point of contact and consult with the HR Director to provide guidance regarding employee relations.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and accessible.
  • Maintain human resources system that includes records on hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Conduct the ISO monthly audit to ensure information is up to date.
  • Monitor onboarding and exit interviews in Perceptyx and conduct in person interviews to supplement the data. Conduct and maintain 6-month new hire manager evaluation.
  • Use data to discuss and recommend retention strategies.
  • Manage reporting of monthly KPI’s, including the L1 Bowler and turnover.
  • Work with the external vendor to support the immigration process.
  • Manage internship and Co/Op program.
  • Manage LOA and benefits questions/inquiry.
  • Assists HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR role with strong recruiting, sourcing, and employee relations management experience.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in applicant tracking system such ICIMS or Taleo required.
  • Experience with UltiPro or other payroll/HRIS system required.
