Job Overview:

Talent Recruiting Partners is seeking a skilled Director of Human Resources / Operations leader to oversee all employee relations as the liaison between our client’s corporate office and this location in Blount County. This is the go to person for around 100 employees for anything related to employee relations and employee retention. This is an amazing opportunity to make a difference within a nonprofit setting. And, for someone that would enjoy being empowered to make decisions to improve the overall employee experience for around 100 Blount County area employees!

Responsibilities would include but not limited to:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Maintaining positive relationships between employees and the organization; Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Handling various employee-related tasks such as counseling, disputes and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
  • Will likely conduct employee dispute investigations to understand the situation fully, gather information from all parties involved, and review relevant policies and procedures.
  • Once the cause of the conflict has been identified, can then develop an action plan to resolve the issue.
  • Will take care of anything that falls within the scope of what this new hire can handle without escalation.
  • When escalation is necessary will need to be able to identify that as well and complete a thorough report to provide to the CFO to resolve.
  • The CFO is seeking a new hire for this location to assist with anything needed to be implemented from C suite at corporate to the local employees of Blount County
  • Will also work to improve employee retention.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.

Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs as well as weekly orientations.

Experience required:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree and be a go to person for problem solving and employee relations/ solutions.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with employment labor law, HR sourcing, interviewing, training development, supervising, human capital management, process improvement, workers compensation( Would need to possess skillset to know when to escalate to corporate or when can handle within Blount County location).
  • Seeking a Human Resources professional with a servant’s heart; Healthcare or some adult care industry experience would be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
