Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department and ensuring smooth operations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

· Utilize recruitment strategies to recruit and engage with schools for job and career fairs.

· Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs, including preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions.

· Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems and databases.

· Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

· Support employee relations efforts by addressing employee questions and concerns, and escalating issues as necessary.

· Act as the focal point to managers in various HR-related matters.

· Assist in performance management processes, including coordinating performance reviews and providing administrative support.

· Assist Corporate Trainer in training and development initiatives.

· Utilize analytical skills to gather insights and support the implementation of HR policies and initiatives.

· Assist in HR compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

· Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.

· CDL File Management: Oversee CDL files to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company standards.

· Liaise with Health & Safety Compliance teams and report to the Dealer Principle on compliance matters.

· Collaborate with the Payroll and Benefits Specialist and serve as their backup.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HR or related field
  • Familiar with UKG Kronos, preferred
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • HR Certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
