Position Summary
As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success. Acting as a strategic partner and advisor to the business leaders, the HRBP will provide expert guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Generalist HR role that is the initial point of contact for our client leaders and team members within our office
- Support our Leaders on day-to-day challenges and opportunities, with the principal focus on the delivery of our People Strategy
- Build and foster great working relationships with Leaders at all levels while providing trusted and accurate advice around HR, support, and solutions at an operational level.
- SME on people-related policy, procedures, processes, legislation
- Maintain open communication lines with employees to address their concerns, answer questions, and resolve workplace issues. This might involve using active listening skills and conflict-resolution techniques.
- Support managers in performance management activity – investigations, training, disciplinary meetings, grievances etc.
- Support and educate business leaders regarding P&C systems and processes providing effective performance feedback to employees (goal setting, 1:1s, performance reviews, salary reviews, staff surveys etc.) and new initiatives
- Provide leadership coaching around people matters
- Lead and support change management initiatives, including acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and process improvements
- Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and provide insights and recommendations for HR decision-making strategies
- Develop and implement strategies that foster a positive work environment, promote employee engagement, and enhance employee experience through, communication, recognition programs, and employee feedback
- Proactively analyze and monitor organizational issues - identifying risks, working effectively with members of the management team to recommend innovative, ‘fit for purpose’ practical solutions
- Collaborating with Global P&C Head on HR Projects and Initiatives that have been outlined
- Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the recruitment process, keeping them informed of the status of their application.
- Help shape the company's employer brand by crafting messaging that attracts top talent. This might involve content for the company website or social media.
- Proactively identify and actively seek solutions to problems and opportunities
- Coordination of recruitment and onboarding processes such as booking pre-employment medical checks, conducting reference checks, and administering criminal background checks.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an HR Advisor or similar function
- Strong technical ability in the HR and ER environment
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
- Ability to have difficult conversations and possess well-developed consulting and influencing skills to implement change
- A driven individual who can achieve customer satisfaction by having a service and support mindset
- Familiarity with HRIS and LMS platforms highly regarded
- Writing clear, concise, and professional emails, reports, and presentations
- Coaching and guidance ability that encourages growth
- Exposure to the Manufacturing, Automotive, or Logistics industry highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources would be advantageous but not required
