We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have . As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing calendars, coordinating projects, and assisting with office management tasks.
Recruiting and New Hire:
- Talley website – Ask Marketing to post all Job Openings.
- Screening of resumes received on Job Boards.
- Scheduling Interviews as needed for open positions.
- Administrative paperwork for Background Checks & Drug Screens.
- Scheduling New Hire Orientation Meetings.
- New Hire Checklist.
- New Hire Employment Log.
- State Required New Hire Pamphlets (CA, NJ, WA, CHI).
- Prepare New Hire Training Documents for Employee.
- Setting up Talley Track for all new hires, transfers, and promotions.
- Responsible for and maintenance of all new hire pictures on the shared drive.
- Assist with the Company culture program:
Big Goal Award Program
- Administrative support for Big Goal Meeting setups.
- Company Task Force – Point of Contact for coordinating guests and employees who volunteer for the event, assist in the coordination of the Task Force Event, such as safety, parking, t-shirt inventory and distribution for events.
- Back up to HR Manager, Talent & Culture for Wednesday Big Goal Meetings.
- Add/Maintain/Manage contract labor tracking log.
- Reception and Switchboard & additional Activities: Primary backup to the Switchboard for scheduled time off and meal breaks. Back up to HR Assistant as needed. Knowledge,
- Skill and Experience Required:
- College graduate highly preferred or job equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience, preferably in an Administrative or Coordinator role.
- Microsoft Office skills are required, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Be honest, ethical, and highly confidential.
- Strong communication skills: verbal, reading, and writing skills.
- Positive and energized work attitude with a sense of urgency and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Strong analytical skills, and detailed oriented.
- Able to create and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
- Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, not personalizing HR matters, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
- Must be able to multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and work in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
