Human Resources Admin - Santa Fe Springs, CA
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm.
Duties:
- Develop and deliver training programs through a blended learning approach (classroom, virtual, computer-based training, hands-on, etc.)
- Schedule training (computer-based training and instructor-led training), record attendance, and manage to report
- Manage and maintain all LMS Training Programs
- Assign appropriate training courses based on employee roles and responsibilities
- Report on training progress metrics
- Monitor, evaluate, and record training completion and training effectiveness
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment effort for all non-exempt and exempt personnel, writes and places advertisements
- Screen Applications and Interview potential candidates, partner with hiring managers in scheduling and managing interviews, and coordinate employment testing if applicable
- Provide day-to-day support to the HR team and assist with programs and processes such as talent planning and tracking, resolving employee issues, basic analytics
- Collaborate with the HR team on projects, programs, and initiatives to support company growth
- Ensure employee records are updated and maintained in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain employee digital and electronic records
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
- Manage the required safety committee monthly meetings, compliance, and training development training for all team members which includes our temporary work staff.
- Engage with all levels of employees
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Perform all duties in accordance with environmental, safety, and employment and wage and hour rules and regulations
- Follow the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food standards (SQF), and safety rules (including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources preferred
- Some knowledge of HR regulations, laws, and policies and working knowledge of applicable regulations such as ERISA, FMLA, ACA, and COBRA
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing processes preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead and drive change in a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ethical behavior. Additionally, must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of care
- Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, verbal, and written
- Demonstrate full knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures and Safe Quality Food (SQF) Procedures
