Position Title: Human Resources Generalist
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Director of Human Resources
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist will be a strategic partner responsible for supporting various
aspects of the HR life cycle by supporting in areas such as talent acquisition, recruiting,
onboarding, employee retention, training, HRIS, HR compliance, compensation, payroll and benefits. This position will play an integral role in working with leadership to source, attract and retain talent
at REHAB.
Starting Wage: $50,918.40
The posted wage is the current starting wage for this position. Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 1
year of relevant HR-related experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s
degree, High School Graduate with 4 years of relevant
HR-related experience.
Skills/Experience:
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Working knowledge of multiple media venues (e.g. LinkedIn,
Facebook, etc.).
- Familiarity with relevant employment law
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related
field.
Skills/Experience:
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a HR generalist with
employment and recruitment responsibilities.
- Proficient with Google’s G Suite.
- Working knowledge of HR computerized systems and report
writers.
Certification/License
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and/or HRCI
Certification

Office supplies and equipment, including telephone, computer and multifunction devices (MFDs).
Google’s G Suite, report writer and database software.
