The HR/Culture & Special Projects Manager is a full-time position within Circle Beverage and it is a critical position to help the Company achieve its mission. The position reports to the Client Success Director and is a member of the company’s management team.
Key Accountabilities: to lead the general Human Resources functions and oversee the execution of special projects and initiatives.
The position’s responsibilities break down as follows:
Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that open positions are filled with quality candidates in a timely fashion. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires and facilitate offboarding procedures.
Company Culture: Organize and oversee company events, monthly newsletters, town halls, and employee recognition programs. Foster a positive and engaging work environment by spending time each week “MBWA” – managing by walking around and talking to people. Develop other strategies to enhance company culture.
Special Project Management: Lead projects from design through deployment; identifying project scope, budget, and implementation plans. Collaborate across departments with project sponsors and stakeholders to accomplish project goals.
Leadership Development: elevate the performance of all team leaders/managers in the company by creating & implementing the company’s Leadership Blueprint. This will include conducting regular one-on-one meetings with managers to coach & guide them on the Blueprint, develop training & guest speaker opportunities for the management team, conduct a manager assessment process (including 360 reviews, skip level meetings, etc).
Employee Development & Relations: develop & oversee the company’s performance & development process for all employees. This will include managing the Bench Strength process, the Companywide Personnel Performance Plan (4-box), and developing career pathways for the departments of the company. Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and other HR-related issues.
The experiences that a qualified candidate will have are:
Three years of experience in Human Resources, Communications or a comparable business function
Prior experience that includes the responsibilities listed above (leadership development, project management employee development, company culture, employee relations).
Proven track record of both creating & executing ideas to improve a company or team.
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Prior history of being trusted to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Preferred: prior experience in a supervisory position.
Preferred: prior experience in a manufacturing company.
Preferred: prior experience in a growth-stage company (growing faster than 10% annually).

Location: Company Headquarters (1050 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46202).
Salaried Exempt leadership position. Eligible for management bonus program.
Monday to Friday in-person.
