We have an immediate opening for a HR Specialist who has retail or grocery HR experience for a position based in West Chester PA. This position is to commence ASAP, and only those who currently work in HR and are situated in the Pennsylvania area are encouraged to apply.
NOTE: Candidates WITHOUT current HR Management and experience in either Retail or Grocery will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations and morale to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee recruiting and termination processes, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Conduct employee reviews and provide constructive feedback for professional development.
- Stay updated on health and safety protocols and implement necessary updates.
- Support operations to achieve employee and customer satisfaction goals.
- Conduct interviews, counsel employees, and enforce disciplinary actions as per company standards.
- Maintain effective communication with employees to address inquiries and promote satisfaction.
- Anticipate and address employee relations matters proactively.
- Collaborate positively with other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
- Adapt quickly to changing requirements and assist in various procedures as needed.
- Work as a team player to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of prior Human Resources experience, preferably in a retail or market/grocery store environment.
- Proficient in hiring and termination procedures.
- Ability to travel between store locations as required.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Capable of handling stressful situations and emergencies effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
