Posting Summary
Facilitate staff and faculty HR processes and data management of staff and faculty personnel actions. Serve as subject matter expert for staff and faculty HR transactional processes. Review, analyze and make recommendations for ePARs (electronic personnel action requests) eAPFs (electronic additional payment forms), eTemps (electronic temporary employee requests), and tuition remission. Produce reports regarding staff and faculty personnel actions, including faculty union membership lists and union dues list, research discrepancies and facilitate reconciliation. Provide advice and recommendations to HR generalists to help department administrators to support their submission of accurate personnel documents, including union eligibility determinations, earnings codes, and summer retirement contributions. Provide input on staff and faculty HR processes.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree with one to three years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline driven environment and serve as an effective team member. Proficiency with computer software and the ability to learn new systems and software is essential. The ability to effectively analyze transactions for accuracy and communicate any errors. Ability to maintain confidentiality required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice issues, and fostering a collaborative, multicultural environment.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range
$25.65/hr to $28.20/hr (50,000-55,000/year)
Other Information
Actual hiring pay dependent on current competitor market conditions, comparable campus peer(s) at time of hire, and candidate’s experience level and length.
