Position Summary: The HR/SAFETY FIELD REP. works under the direction of the HR/Safety Manager and Safety Specialist at Lakeside Organic Gardens. This position is responsible for assisting with designing, development, and implementation of company HR/Safety policies in central and Southern California.

Required Job Skills:

· An attention to detail in all activities is imperative.

· Bi-lingual. English / Spanish speak and read. MUST BE FLUENT

· A strong work ethic and job dedication is essential to be successful in this position.

· Good math, written and verbal communication skills is required.

· Computer literacy with familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel is required.

· Strong communication skills are essential. Must have the ability to speak to large groups of employees.

· Candidates must be well organized and comfortable working independently.

· HR/Safety knowledge is preferred.

· Clean DMV driving history / insurable.

· Candidate must be reliable and punctual.

Work Schedule:

· This position requires that the candidate work Monday through Saturday and holidays. Start time will vary depending on the time of the season and when crews start. Start times can vary from 5:30am to 8am

Education:

· Experience in HR/Safety preferred but not necessary.

Job Duties:

Daily

· Employee Audits

· Implement Safety Protection for Employees using PPE, making sure they are using it correctly

· Making sure everyone at all locations are complying with safety policies

· Inspect ranch FSU, make sure employees have water

· Call managers to let them know of any issues

· Help field managers with any discipline issues

Weekly

· Log Employee audits and department audits.

· Distribute payroll to crews.

Monthly

· Assist with safety meetings

As Needed

· Injury Reports and investigation

· Check Safety Kits and replenish with the supplies in each department.

· Take safety incentives to crews and departments.

· Check supervisor Totes to see what’s missing and replenish.

· Assist Safety Specialist

All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
