Position Overview
Our team is currently looking for an HR Onboarding Coordinator for a client in the Oil and Gas industry.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties
- Responsible for prompt initiation, coordination and communication of the various stages in the staffing work flow while simultaneously processing multiple case files and requests.
- Interface with multiple systems and functional stakeholders, spotting exceptions and potential causes of delay. Initiate timely, appropriate actions throughout processing of each case to ensure expedient, accurate completion and a quality experience for new employees.
- Utilize the Taleo system Recruiting and Onboarding modules to develop offer letters and accomplish all aspects of the pre-employment phase of the Onboarding Program.
- Pre-employment screening: Initiate Background Investigations, screen reports and coordinate issues with HR and legal counsel. Initiate and communicate results of Medical/Drug Screenings. Complete candidate processing in accordance with all screening outcomes.
- Responsible for PeopleSoft new hire data form coding accuracy and verification of Payroll forms.
- Administer, update and further develop the staffing components of our SharePoint team site.
- Deliver customer-oriented services to new hires and provide guidance to all levels of HR staff throughout the company, while keeping supervision informed of potential escalation issues.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements as work evolves and as new Taleo Onboarding processes and work flow activities are added.
- This position is responsible for handling confidential personal information. Must have ability to handle and maintain confidential information with professionalism.
- Assist with various projects and perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent
- Previous Human Resources work experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and email systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills are required.
