Metropolitan Companies is searching for a progressive and positive HR Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate would have demonstrated HR experience in a large corporate setting. This position will be responsible for leading and developing the HR team as well as partner with leadership to align goals and initiatives. This position will report to the CFO.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization's mission, vision, and business objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with overall company goals.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to attracting, assessing, and hiring top-tier talent timely. Implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet current and future workforce needs.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by managing employee relations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts. Provide guidance and support to managers and HR staff in handling employee-related issues.
- Develop and implement performance management programs that drive employee growth, development, and accountability. Provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and delivering constructive feedback.
- Oversee payroll and benefits programs to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work with HR staff, identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate continuous learning opportunities to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Ensure organization is up to date with labor laws, regulations, and industry trends. Ensure HR policies, practices, and procedures are compliant and aligned with legal requirements.
- Lead HR-related change initiatives, guiding employees and managers through organizational changes and transitions.
- Manage the HR budget effectively, optimizing resources to achieve HR goals and objectives.
- Head corporate events committee and organize upbeat, engaging company wide events.
- Oversee HRIS systems and HR processes to ensure efficiencies and consistent structure.
Competencies:
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 8+ years experience in HR leadership role.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Strong leadership and people management skills
