We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources (Required) Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles with proven experience as an HR Generalist (3 years) HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) (Preferred) Attention to detail (Required) Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to multi-task (Required) Responsibilities: Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HRIS systems with changes in employee status and personal information to ensure that employee records are stored securely and confidentially, in compliance with privacy regulations. Processing payroll, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, wage calculations, and deductions. Handle issues related to overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other forms of compensation. Collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop job descriptions. Help the recruiting department as needed. Facilitating new employee orientation sessions to introduce them to company policies, culture, and procedures. Coordinating the setup of new employee workspaces, equipment, and access to systems. Processing paperwork for new hires, including employment contracts, tax forms, and benefit enrollments. Managing the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and documentation. Staying informed about relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensuring HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with legal requirements. Conducting audits or assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions. Addressing employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and employment conditions. Handling employee relations matters, such as addressing grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues. Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies and procedures. Coordinating training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Tracking employee training progress and maintaining training records. Assisting in the development of training materials and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives Generating reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment statistics, and training completion rates. Reviewing HR invoices with the accounts team. Tracking HR budget for multiple activities and assisting in budget finalization, including raising PO requests. Assisting in the preparation of a standard contract tracker for labor contracts. Assisting in drafting policies with the managers. Managing benefit programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Processing benefit-related paperwork and coordinating with benefit providers. Planning and organizing employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, recognition programs, and employee surveys. Monitoring employee morale and satisfaction levels and recommending strategies for improvement.
