Employment Information

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, processing weekly hourly payroll, benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain hourly personnel files, including daily filing of active and terminated employee paperwork

· Assists with staffing functions including screening, interviewing, testing to fill vacant positions

· Process new benefit enrollments with insurance carriers for hourly personnel

· Maintain accurate attendance records for all hourly associates

· Assist with the preparation disciplinary write-ups as necessary, data entry to employee discipline log

· Assist with processing of new hire and termination paperwork

· Assist with hourly personnel transactions such as promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and passwords reset

· Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals

· Administer human resource functions to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance

· Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs

· Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records

· Maintain good employee relations through effective communication and prompt attention to associate concerns

· Provide off shift coverage at least one day per week, and as necessary

· Assist with responses to initial Fact Finding unemployment claims

· Maintain Training Matrix log by adding or removing employees, and entering training records

· Respond to hourly verification of employment requests for hourly employees

· Responsible for following, enforcing, and communicating all internal and OSHA required safety procedures

· Assist with planning employee events

· Provide administrative support to the department and/or facility staff members as needed

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Development/related field preferred and or 2+ years of experience in HR and Payroll

· Excellent verbal, written, group presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
