Introduction
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our newly established Digital Organization in the Minerals Business Area. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to be part of building our new digital segment and get a front-row seat in developing strategic HR initiatives aligning with our organizational objectives and growth aspirations. Your role plays a crucial part in coordinating between the different business lines to create standardized models for various HR functional areas and core processes, such as organizational development, change management, and employee relations.
This position can be located either in Finland (Espoo or Lappeenranta) or the USA (Brookfield, WI or York, PA), and we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team you belong to
In this role, you will report to the VP, HR Minerals and work together on many HR-related initiatives. In addition, you'll partner closely with the organization's business line leaders and HR colleagues worldwide. We are still in the building phase of the digital segment, and you'll also support us in growing our newest Metso location in Krakow, Poland, together with the local HR Manager.
What you'll do
Contribute strongly to organizational design, development, and workforce planning together with the Minerals senior management.
Lead defined HR development projects and change management initiatives to drive efficiency.
Manage essential strategic resources & competencies, drive talent management & development, and support with data analytics.
Support and facilitate leadership development and coach senior leaders.
Assist and consult the organization with external partner networks and the concept development and process.
Provide proactive innovation to people topics, foreseeing future needs based on business plans.
Work towards reduced employee risks and increased process compliance while ensuring consistent application of global HR processes in alignment with region HRs.
Drive key recruitments for the organization together with Talent Acquisition and HR colleagues.
As this is a relatively new role, the responsibilities can expand later based on the location and experience of the selected person.
Who you are
Previous experience working in large multinational or technology organizations as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar, preferably for 5+ years.
Solid knowledge of various HR functional areas and core processes, such as organizational development, change management, and employee relations.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills and an ability to take initiative independently.
Excellent relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English.
