Job Title: HR Benefits Lead Position Summary: The HR Benefits Lead will serve as the administrator of all benefit plans and unemployment claims for Singh. This individual will be the main point of contact for associates in these areas and support leadership, HR Business Partners, and others with related inquiries. Additionally, this role will oversee leave of absence and Worker’s Compensation administration. This position reports to the Senior HR Manager and is a member of the HR team.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage all company sponsored benefit plans. Including but not limited to: managing Open Enrollment, monthly eligibility, qualifying life events, etc.
  • Complete weekly and monthly benefit billing allocations, submit to accounting and send payments to vendors.
  • Unemployment claims administration, including but not limited to: completing all requests for information, gathering evidence, preparing witnesses and attending/conducting hearings.
  • Process benefits changes as employee changes are processed in UKG
  • Process requested 401k hardship withdrawals
  • COBRA administration
  • Process monthly ACA reporting as well as year-end 1095s
  • Process and file annual EEO-1 report utilizing UKG
  • Process year end OSHA reporting with HR Specialist
  • Respond to employee questions/issues in regards to benefits
  • Process requests for PTO Donation
  • Oversee and monitor Leaves of Absence, Accommodations and Worker’s Compensation programs that are administered daily by the HR Specialist.

Stays abreast of State and Federal leave requirements and ensures company compliance with the provisions of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Department of Labor (DOL) Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Act (USERRA).

  • Prepares reports in HRIS system.

Job Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to rely on critical thinking skills and sound judgment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Technologically savvy and proficient, able to quickly learn, administer, and become the subject matter expert with our HR systems including UKG
  • Resourceful problem solver that uses sound judgment to determine priorities in a quickly changing environment.
  • Results oriented, self-starter, who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Team player with an ability to successfully partner with various HR team members on projects.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as HRIS programs. Experience with UKG is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s in Business, Human Resources or like degree program preferred.
