The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in the human resources department, acting as the backbone that supports both the HR team and the organization's employees. This position is geared towards individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a keen interest in the fields of HR and employee management.
Responsibilities:
· Overseeing employee records, scanning and handling emails, establishing network folders, organizing documents on the network and in hard copy, labeling documents (either electronically or in physical files), shredding, and performing additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
· The ideal candidate for this position should have excellent organizational skills, handle confidential information with care, and show proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are a must.
· Prior experience in administration or HR Generalist roles is beneficial.
· Ability to wear standard PPE, climb stairs, and walk or stand continuously for 30 minutes is required.
