Zoom Tan Inc. is the fastest growing UV and spray tanning company in America. We have completed multiple acquisitions, also while focusing on plans for extensive growth through new builds of Zoom Tan salons and our launch into the fitness industry with Zoom Fit gyms. We have over 110 salon locations in Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Florida with plans for further expansion. Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Talent and Retention Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and retain employees across all levels of the organization. This role will involve collaborating with hiring managers, conducting employee engagement surveys and interviews, analyzing data, and recommending initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure a strong talent pipeline
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training programs
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, team-building activities, and professional development opportunities
Coordinate termination meetings and assist managers in conducting termination discussions with employees, providing guidance on proper procedures and communication strategies.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Work closely with HR and management teams to address employee concerns and develop retention strategies
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and retention
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience in talent acquisition and retention, preferably in [industry/sector]
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in MS Office
Benefits:
Competitive salary: $65,000-$80,000
Compensation Package to include but not limited to above average base pay, three weeks paid time off to start, access to competitive Health Benefits (Health, Dental, and Vision), Life and Disability Insurance and matched 401(k) Plan
