What you will do:

  • Direct the supply chain management of central distribution centers within the Hawai’i market to ensure efficient ordering, processing, inventory control, and warehouse management. This includes, but is not limited to, branch processing, routing, delivery, and quality indices.
  • Oversee transportation group regarding logistics and fleet.
  • Supervise 10-20 hourly reports.
  • Collaborate with leaders within OneSource to develop short- and long-term strategies in various business segments, including Industrial, Contractor, and Renewables.
  • Uphold adherence to each of Sonepar’s business and operational policies.
  • Optimize inbound and outbound logistics by leveraging supplier synergies and implementing cost-reduction strategies.
  • Review monthly expenses for each department, identify opportunities for cost savings, and promptly report any areas of concern.
  • Continually explore process improvement initiatives and present solutions to Senior Leadership Team for review.
  • Develop, distribute, and manage KPIs for the Central Distribution Center.
  • Lead by example and embody the 10 Principles of Personal Leadership.
  • Establish clear expectations and set mutually agreed upon goals for direct reports through regular check-ins and performance feedback.
  • Maintain an elevated level of floor presence to direct workflow.
  • Ensure all safety programs and requirements are met, holding the team to the highest standards of safety and compliance.


What you will bring:

  • High school or equivalent diploma; and
  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience
  • 6+ years of Distribution Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics experience preferred.
  • Warehouse Management System experience (Eclipse preferred)
  • Deep understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Established competence of Federal DOT, Safety, and OSHA standards.
  • Experience in employee engagement, hiring, staff development, and retention strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment.
  • Must be process-oriented and highly organized.


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Combination of office and warehouse environments


Location:
This role is based in Kapolei, HI

  • Up to 10% travel within the Hawaiian islands


Salary Range:

  • This is an exempt position that pays $88,000 - $125,000 annually. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within Hawaii. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
