Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a personal trainer or in other related fields
• Ability to train at all fitness levels
• Passion for health and fitness
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 100 lbs

Not required but a plus

• Mic work and use of a timing/music system
• Nutritional and supplement knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

• Instruct groups of individuals in a fitness environment
• Offer support to help our clients reach their individual fitness goals
• Demonstrate proper form, technique, and when asked, any modifications a client may need
• Implement the training program that RockBox institutes on a daily basis
• Ensure a safe and fun fitness environment
• Training Certification

The RockBox story didn’t start in a boardroom. Like many success stories, it started with one person and a dream. The story of our boxing gym franchise began with an entrepreneur named Steve Halloran, a professional fighter himself who had a passion for boxing and fitness that he wanted to share with others. This desire set the course for a very different kind of gym. In 2013, he opened his first fitness studio, where he continually tweaked and honed the workout, studio, and member experience to make his gym something truly unique and special. He created more than just a boxing gym – he provided a space where members could build their minds, body, and confidence.

Roger Martin started working out at one of Steve’s locations in 2016. He was so impressed and inspired by Steve’s vision and the potential his gym held that he left his executive job in the pharmaceutical industry to join Steve full-time. Together they made some changes, including rebranding the studio, the member experience, and the marketing positioning, to help future locations thrive in a competitive yet fast-growing market. With these changes, RockBox was born.

In May 2018, RockBox began franchising and today has 60 locations with more than 130 licenses sold. You can find our boxing-based fitness studios everywhere from Charlotte to Texas to San Diego!
