Global Human Resources (HR) Policy Lead (C13)
The VP, Global Human Resources (HR) Policy Lead plays a key role in Citi’s Policy transformation and Consent Order work and supporting HR’s Global Policy Governance model. Primary responsibilities include shepherding Policy document owners through Citi’s Policy Governance process and requirements as well as overseeing policy management related responsibilities to ensure documents are current and meet Citi’s policy template requirements.
This role will report to the Global HR Policy Head (C15, Director).
Responsibilities:
- Assists Global HR Policy Head with all aspects of HR Policy Governance oversight.
- Provides guidance to HR Policy Owners throughout the end-to-end policy document lifecycle and when creating or making major, minor and administrative changes to Policy documents.
- Responsible for writing, reviewing and editing documents to ensure compliance with Citi’s Policy Governance Policy and Standard.
- Provides guidance to Policy Owners with gathering required documents for Global HR Policy Council and Citi Policy Committee meetings.
- Supports Global HR Policy Governance Council monthly meetings, reviews documents to ensure compliance with policy requirements, voting process and document retention.
- Engages and collaborates with various HR Policy Owners and Drafters and other key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provides guidance, feedback, check and challenge to HR Policy drafters on writing Policy documents.
- Oversees HR’s Policy inventory and ongoing document maintenance requirements including the recording and tracking of dispensations, waivers and breaches.
- Responsible for preparing new and amended draft content for Global HR Policy owned Policies, Standards and/or Procedures and ensures compliance with Citi’s Policy Governance Policy and Standard
- Meets deliverables aligned with Consent order milestones which include HR Policy owned documents and guiding other HR document owners through required activities.
- Applies sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and adhere to all Citi policies.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Policy Writing, Policy Governance oversight, Project Management and/or Human Resources
- Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Creative problem-solving skills; fosters innovation and creativity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident in providing credible challenging and being credibly challenged.
- Strong presentation & communication skills
- Effective time management skills and confident working independently
- A collaborative and positive team member with strong organizational skills
- The ability to work well under tight time constraints.
- Proven judgment and decision-making skills, even when the data is limited, unclear or questionable, and can quickly get to the heart of complex issues.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote, Outlook
Education:
- Bachelors/University degree

$93,440.00 - $140,160.00
