Overview:
Utah State University Football Program is hiring a Football Defensive Quality Control. The Quality Control position is a primary aid to the coaching staff. This position reports to the Football Coaching staff. The quality control will provide various duties in analysis, quality control, administrative, and organizational capacities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist staff with daily supervision of players.
  • Assist Coordinator and/or staff with all duties for practice and game plan preparation.
  • Complete breakdowns of opponents to be completed a week ahead of time.
  • Coordinate video cutups of all opponent film. Assist Coordinator and/or staff with distribution of game plans.
  • Responsible for off season future opponent breakdown and cutups.
  • Responsible for various elements of quality control.
  • Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with coaching staff, coaches from other USU sports, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders. Abide by all written policies and procedures of Utah State University, the Department of Athletics, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Football coaching or playing experience required.
  • Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School or college coaching experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with video.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Exceptional listening skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Reliable and committed team player with a solid work ethic and dedication to excellence.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt new skills or techniques as needed.

Advertised Salary: Commensurate with experience ADA:
The environment and physical requirements may change depending on the specific function of the work each department performs. Incumbents may be in both indoor and outdoor environments. This position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions, such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
